Public Health Program Supervisor
Health Department (Animal Shelter)

The Kent County Animal Shelter is seeking a customer-oriented supervisor to oversee all aspects of the Shelter including animal control, kennels and office operations. This position is responsible for staff supervision; budget/contract administration; and managing workflow.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Public Administration, Public Health or Health Management and four years of progressively responsible and demonstrably successful experience in management. Experience in handling animals and/or knowledge of animal science is desired.

This position is part of the Management Pay Plan, a pay for performance compensation system. The salary ranges from $59,967 to $71,988, depending on qualifications, and is accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
