What are the advantages of being a MAACO member?
A:
A MAACO member falls into one of three categories, (Regular, Honorary or Associate). All three will receive the MAACO Newsletter and all mailings in addition to having full rights to the entire MAACO Forum. Regular and Honorary members also enjoy full voting rights to help determine the direction of MAACO. Regular members must be employed at least 25 hours a week in animal control work and be ACOs, Police Officers, Deputy Sheriffs or Public Officials. Honorary members must apply to the MAACO Board and have been employed at least 10 years for a municipality in the capacity of Animal Control. The Associate member is any person or organization which has requested membership in MAACO and has been voted in by majority vote of the Board.
