LIVE Online Sessions
Weekly online sessions, followed by in-person practicals are led by Dr. Cathy Anderson, an HSUS-certified and MDARD-approved euthanasia instructor with a master's in Shelter Medicine. This training meets and exceeds the minimum
requirements, covering topics such as the history of animal shelters and euthanasia, understanding euthanasia drugs and dosages, drug administration methods, humane restraint techniques, verification of death, managing stress and compassion fatigue, federal and state requirements.
